C.M. Dancy Consulting (CMDC) is a nonprofit management and administrative services consulting firm that specializes in assessing needs and creating solutions within an organization’s daily operations.

CMDC partners with mission-driven organizations to help identify and address needs in the areas of program development, organizational management, and leadership development.

Chiquana M. Dancy

Founder & Principal Consultant

Chiquana M. Dancy brings nearly two decades of experience supporting mission-driven organizations through strategic, people-centered leadership. With a background rooted in program management, policy development, and collaborative partnerships, she helps organizations align operations with mission, navigate growth, and lead with clarity and purpose.

Chiquana holds an MA in Sports Leadership, a Duke University Nonprofit Management Certificate, and is a Certified Interscholastic Coach. She has served in a range of leadership roles—including as a board member, director, instructor, and national committee member—especially within youth and sports-focused organizations. She currently teaches in Duke’s Nonprofit Management Certificate Program and serves on the finance committee for Special Olympics NC and on the board of directors for Girls on the Run of the Triangle.

At the heart of my work is a belief in alignment, opportunity, relationships, and empowerment—because when organization leaders thrive, their teams and communities do too.
